I clicked on "current podcast", above, and got nothing... Was hoping that I'd hear you talk about the Reliquie...

While I really tried hard, and I also read your CD notes, I was not successful in connecting with this Schubert piece. I found it (from a composition standpoint) too driving, too rhythmic, ad lacking in any relief with quieter, sadder, perhaps more peaceful parts. Same for the second movement.

In contrast, I was delighted with your performance of the A-Major sonata; I see how busy you are with performances during February and March (a good thing!). If you have time, please see my review of your Wigmore CD at:
